RB Toy Design, Inc. provides Product Design (incorporating 3D CAD Design), Manufacturing (domestic and overseas), Toy Safety and Child Safety Evaluation & Testing, Importing and Exporting services (including freight), Packaging and Expert Witness Services.  Our 58 years of experience in design and manufacturing can provide your company the expert support it needs to be competitive in the world marketplace, without the permanent overhead associated with a dedicated staff.  Our expertise includes plastic products, candy dispensers and the candy and chewing gum associated with them, Plush items (dolls and characters), electronics and highly decorated plastic items.  Call us on your next project and let's discuss how we can assist and support your efforts.

Product Design:

We can work with you from your initial concepts, preliminary sketches and design objectives to help define your new product in the terms of making it "manufacturing friendly".  We can take your designs and functionally test them in our 3D CAD systems, to determine the most economical way of producing the finished product.  The 3D CAD data can be easily converted into physical plastic models (Rapid Prototyping - RP, 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing - AM) for initial functionality testing, safety evaluations or initial product test marketing.   This approach can reduce your time to market, and discover cost cutting opportunities without the expensive trial and error methods previously used.  We can even generate beautiful photo-quality renderings of your product for pre-sales presentations.

Manufacturing:

We can handle the complete manufacturing process, domestically or overseas, including the packaging.  Our longtime proven and reliable sources can eliminate the worry associated with domestic or overseas manufacturing, and leave you and your resources available to handle the crucial marketing and sales of your products.  We can also assist you in product safety testing and meeting the new strict compliance guidelines (ASTM F963-17, CPSIA and EN-71), for both the US and European standards.  We can also provide the import or export services for your products, and turn a normally tedious and paper laden operation into a turn-key situation we can handle for you in the background. 

Expert Witness Services:

Our 58 years of experience in the Toy and Toy Manufacturing industry (both domestic and overseas) allows us to evaluate and help determine the forensics of child safety mishaps.  We work independently with Companies, Law Firms and Insurance Companies in the areas of Product Design, Domestic and Overseas Manufacturing, Packaging, Instructions, etc., and we are also associated with various national Expert Witness agencies.  RB Toy Design, Inc. can work as a component of these national expert groups, or can provide these services and Expert Witness testimony independently for general and specific situations.  Please contact us and request a "CV" which outlines the experience and scope of the Expert Witness.
